We ask for cooperation from all of our patients in paying for services on the day of treatment, including patients with dental insurance.  By paying for treatment in full, or the estimated patient portion, on the day of service, it helps to reduce bookkeeping and billing expenses that increase the cost of your care.

We accept cash, check, and most major credit cards.

There is a $25.00 processing fee for all returned checks or invalid credit card payments.

Single Day Services:  We ask that all single day services be paid on the day of service.  This includes the patient's portion for those with dental insurance.

Total Fees over $500.00:  Patients whose total fees are greater than $500.00 who pay in full before treatment will be refunded the bookkeeping and accounting cost - a savings of 5% of the total fee.

Total Fees over $2000.00:  If the total fee is greater than $2000.00 and is paid in full before treatment, the savings are 7% of that fee.

Patients with Dental Insurance:  In cases where the total fee is paid up front in order to receive the discount, any insurance payment will go directly to you.

Note:  All previous balances must be paid in full before any bookkeeping allowance may apply.

Senior Courtesy:  Patients 65 years of age and above will receive a courtesy 5% bookkeeping allowance on all fees over $100.00 that are paid in full of the day of service or at the beginning of a treatment series.

Payment Plans

Payment agreements are available.  An initial payment is required for all patients wanting to set up a payment plan.  This down payment will range from 20-33% of the total fee and is due before treatment begins.  Generally the remaining balance will be divided into 3-4 equal payments and no greater than 6.  No discounts apply for payment agreements.

Payment plans will not incur any interest charges as long as they remain current.  We reserve the right to add interest or any necessary, reasonable, or customary collection and/or legal fees if your account becomes delinquent.  You will be contacted if a scheduled payment is not received within 5 days.  If a payment is received with an incorrect amount, it will not be accepted and will be returned to you for correction.

We do additionally offer outside financing.  Please let us know if this would be helpful or of interest to you.  Favorable rates and terms are available with easy acceptance.  Our office staff would be happy to help you apply.  With outside financing, the finance company pays us and you pay the finance company.  No discount applies, but any insurance benefit would go directly to you.

All accounts are aged from the day of service.  There will be 1.5% interest added to all unpaid charges after 90 days.  This includes unresolved insurance claims.

Insurance Coverage

The patient or guarantor is ultimately responsible for all account balances regardless of insurance coverage.

We submit insurance claims as a courtesy; however, the contract exists between the patient/insured and the insurance company.  Our business is ultimately to provide excellent dental care.  However, we diligently try to help all patients receive the maximum benefits their plan will allow for the treatment they need.  If insurance difficulties arise, please know that we are working on your behalf and we pledge to do our best.

When you have authorized insurance payments to come directly to us, we will estimate your portion based on historical information for your insurance company.  Your portion is due on the day of service.  Please be prepared to pay it.

To speed up insurance processing:  It is important that you be familiar with your particular insurance coverage and provide us with accurate information.  Please bring your current dental information with you.  This is your responsibility.

Points to know:
  1. Insurance year
  2. Annual or Lifetime Deductible
  3. What percentage is the patient's responsibility
  4. Maximum yearly benefit
  5. Rates of coverage based on type of service (Preventive, Basic, Major, etc.)
  6. Whether benefits are paid on a "usual and customary" basis or on a set fee schedule

All of this information should be provided in your insurance handbook and will help us to estimate any co-payment.  We would be happy to help you with this information and ask that you bring your book and card with you at the time of your initial visit or any time insurance coverage questions may arise.

We thank you in advance for your cooperation and look forward to serving you!

If you would like to review our financial arrangement options in advance of treatment, please call (712) 347-6151.
